Customizing Backdrops - FAQ

I’ve reviewed your product photos and found one I love. How do I tell you which one I’d like?

Hooray! When you click “Add To Cart”, a form will pop up for you to fill in various customization options. Product photos will help guide you to choose from multiple hand-drawn existing backdrops.

I love the existing backdrop, but would like a different background color. How can I specify this?

Background colors have been selected to go with these drawings, but you can also choose “white background” from the drop down list (so squirrels, for example, would retain their color but the background would be white) OR you can request another color (so, for example, you could request the existing squirrel backdrop but with a red background). There is an option in the drop down when adding to cart to use an existing template, but request a different color in “additional details”.

If I use an existing backdrop but change the background color, is there an additional fee?

Nope!

What if I have an idea for a totally new backdrop? What is the process?

I love it, let’s get creative. If you would like a fully customized backdrop, add on another product, linked here: ADD-ON: Custom Backdrop. Let’s say, for example, your pet’s name is “Cheese” - and you want a backdrop full of fine cheeses. I can do that! If your pet absolutely loves ice cream, I can make an ice cream backdrop. The world is your oyster! Since I will be hand drawing the new background, there is an additional fee. Follow the link to add this product to your cart!

Additional FAQ

My pet is already black & white by nature. What should I select when checking out? Do I need to pay for the color version?

If your pet is already black & white by nature (like mine!) but has a certain color eyes, or a special collar color you’d like to include, select the black & white option for “Portrait” (and either black & white or color for backdrop, up to you!). When you check out, include these notes in the form or send via email (e.g. “my dog is black & white but has bright blue eyes”, or “my dog is all black but wears a green collar”). I’ll do my best to get those minor colors in there!

I have multiple pets that I’d like to include in the same portrait. Can you do this?
